The Hell Bent Kid: A Novel - Kindle edition by Locke, Charles O.. Literature & Fiction Kindle eBooks @ (38).   Based on real events, The Hell Bent Kid is a tale of pursuit as stark and mesmerizing as the Southwestern landscape in which it is set. Unrelenting from first page to last, it ranks alongside The Ox-Bow Incident, True Grit, and The Searchers as one Brand: Open Road Media. Hellbent by Gregg Hurwitz is a Minotaur publication. NOWHERE This special number will connect you to The Nowhere Man- a man who helps those who require specialized assistance and have no other recourse. However, the Nowhere Man also happens to be Orphan X- aka- Evan Smoak/5. HellBent is a book by Anthony McGowan, published in It tells the story of Connor O'Neil and his dog, who are killed by an ice cream van and sent to hell. It was received very well, despite being called "Down-right disgusting just for the sake of it".

"Hell Bent" is the third in Hurwitz' Orphan X series and is a must read if you are an Orphan X fan, and, if you aren't, you should definitely explore the series. Evan Smoak is a former member of a secret government training program for future assassins known as the Orphan Program/5(K). Hellbent Series 6 primary works • 6 total works This six-book series will tell the love stories of Hawke, Dylan, Quinn, Kade, Hunter, A.J., and James. A family tree reference is available for reference.   Hellbent is a novel written by Anthony McCowan about a boy named Connor O’Neil. He is a high school student who gets run over by an ice cream truck on his way home from school one day while saving his dog. The truck killed him and he is now stuck in hell with his talking dog/5(38). Dan Bronson (Confessions of a Hollywood Nobody) gave me an ancient, yellow-paged, mass-market paperback entitled The Hell Bent Kid, by Charles O. Locke, published back in the fifties, with the kind of over-the-top cover illustration one might expect to see on a bad Louis L’Amour. Both the cover and the title gave me pause/5.

I really enjoyed this book and loved Evan’s growth as well as glimpses of his fallibility. And I absolutely adored Joey. It only kills me that I’m gonna have to wait about a year for the next instalment. Hellbent by Gregg Hurwitz will be published in the US by Minotaur Books and in Australia via Penguin Books .   Bad Games: Hellbent - A Dark Psychological Thriller (Bad Games Series Book 3) Book 3 of 5: Bad Games Series | by Jeff Menapace out of 5 stars Hellbent is the third book in Shannon McKenna’s new Hellbound Brotherhood series and after finishing this one I can say that this series now competes with the McClouds and friends series in my heart! (Also, just to note for the die-hards, Shannon brings something from Tam into the story so be prepared, yey!). Based on real events, The Hell Bent Kid is a tale of pursuit as stark and mesmerizing as the Southwestern landscape in which it is set. Unrelenting from first page to last, it ranks alongside The Ox-Bow Incident, True Grit, and The Searchers as one of the most unique and artful stories of .
